They join the highly selective list of tech companies supported by Stage V.

Montreal, April 30, 2025Six months after launching Stage V, Québec Tech continues its mission to support the global ambitions of Quebec tech companies with high growth potential by unveiling a new wave of selected companies. This announcement confirms the success of this selective internationalization support service, which targets tech companies at the crossroads of innovation, impact, and global growth—with the support of Desjardins, official partner of Stage V.

The five chosen companies stand out for their high export potential, strong technological innovation, and measurable positive impact. Together, they embody a sectoral diversity that reflects the richness of Quebec’s tech ecosystem: medtech, agri-food biotechnology, telecommunications (vertical SaaS), advanced manufacturing, and construction.

“These are companies reinventing sanitary infrastructure, redefining human mobility, strengthening food security, and optimizing our digital networks or construction sites. Their ambition matches their impact—and that’s exactly what Stage V aims to amplify,” says Richard Chénier, General Manager of Québec Tech.

Meet the five new Stage V companies:

  • BioAlert (Sherbrooke): A continuous monitoring technology for Legionella in water systems. Its solution automates on-site testing, enabling rapid detection and proactive management of health risks, while reducing the use of chemicals and extending equipment lifespan.
  • Ethnocare (Quebec): A next-generation prosthetic designed to significantly improve the mobility, comfort, and confidence of amputees. The goal: to help them reach their full potential through innovative, functional, and human-centered technological solutions.
  • Gaiia (Quebec): An all-in-one SaaS solution that enables Internet service providers (ISPs) to efficiently manage all aspects of their operations: operations management, billing, automation, and customer service. A strategic tool for fast-growing ISPs.
  • Innodal (Longueuil): Natural antimicrobials for the food processing industry. Their technology prevents microbiological contamination caused by pathogens such as Listeria, E. coli, and Salmonella—offering a safe, sustainable, and effective solution for food producers.
  • Mechasys (Montreal): A manufacturer of high-performance robotic laser projectors capable of displaying full-scale 1:1 plans with millimeter accuracy directly on construction sites. Its technology transforms layout implementation in the construction field, saving time, reducing errors, and improving on-site coordination.

New Complementary Service: Imminent Launch of Stage Vo
At the same time, Québec Tech is announcing the launch of Stage Vo, a complementary offering to Stage V. This new service is specifically designed for the most promising tech companies that applied to Stage V, made it to the evaluation committees, but were not selected in the final list. Stage Vo will provide structured support to strengthen their international readiness, enhance their strategies, and position them for future opportunities.

“Stage Vo is part of our commitment to prepare promising Quebec tech companies for commercialization—especially internationally. It’s our way of going further, together, in Québec Tech’s mission,” concludes Richard Chénier.

A Collective Mission to Showcase Quebec Tech
Through Stage V and Stage Vo, Québec Tech acts as a catalyst for global ambition among Quebec tech companies. In collaboration with a vast network of players—incubators, accelerators, public organizations, experts, and international partners—Québec Tech helps position Quebec as a globally recognized tech leader.
